Readership positions available

Holmes Chambers was established in 2022 and has quickly become a highly respected chambers in Brisbane.  Occupying an entire floor of the river facing 95 North Quay building, Holmes has expanded to 17 barristers and presently has space available for a reader who will occupy a dedicated reader space.

The barristers at Holmes practise across a broad range of areas including criminal law, regulatory, public and administrative law,  work health and safety, employment and family law.

​

With a new fit out in Quay Central, we have designed a Chambers to suit modern barristers.  The Chambers includes two large conference rooms to facilitate virtual conferences, court appearances and mediations.

We are now receiving applications for a reader, commencing mid-2025 (or at such other time as agreed) for a period of 12-months.  Barristers from diverse backgrounds are particularly encouraged to apply.
