Jahna Cafe practises predominantly in criminal, public and administrative law and accepts briefs at all stages of these matters across all jurisdictions.
Prior to her call to the Bar, Jahna practised as a solicitor in criminal law with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service. She also served as Associate to Justice Freeburn of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Jahna holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of the Sunshine Coast and was the recipient of the Una Prentice Award for the highest-achieving female graduate of the University of the Sunshine Coast in her graduating year. She is also a sessional academic at the University of the Sunshine Coast and volunteers with the Suncoast Community Legal Centre.
